Inspired by the minimalist painter Mark Rothko, exploring the peripheries of  perception, I painted a suite of large abstract paintings with title: Imaginary Landscapes. The quiet works with their muted colours are of extraordinary beauty. Rothko explained his famous style as: “the simple expression of the complex thought”
